Summer Glau is an American actress who is famous for her role as River Tam in the critically acclaimed TV series Firefly and also as Cameron in the show Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Also, she has appeared on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. This actress, who has featured in movies such like Knights of Badassdom or Serenity has also created a number of TV movies and shows. Her performance in the film Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles brought her an award called the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Marcela Quintanilla was the mother of three children. Selena's professional career started when she was eight years old. She was a member of a father-led band. Selena and her brothers Abraham junior and sister Suzette performed on drums. Selena sang for the group. Selena Y Los Dino is the name for the band. Selena was a regular performer along with her older siblings at bars restaurants weddings fairs and various other locations. Selena along with her sisters as well as their parents were always engaged in the band. They never really had any kind of childhood. But Abraham inspired them to be dedicated musicians by his determination. Abraham senior also performed with The Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos were official founded in 1981. Family business was Selena Y Los Dinos, the main source of income for the family. While there were difficult times at the beginning with little money the Quintanilla family persevered and remained focused with their efforts to become an extremely successful group. Selena Y Los Dinos would become popular throughout the western states in the 1980s. In 1986, the group got their first taste of fame when Selena received awards for Female Singer of the Year and Performer of the Year at the Tejano music awards. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to win prizes of Tejano awards for music, as well as gaining fame and respect.
